Senior FPGA Engineer | High-Speed Networking | London (Hybrid) | Circa £115,000   We are hiring for a Senior FPGA Engineer for a technology company developing advanced solutions in AI/ML, and high-performance computing environments.   They are seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer to join a growing engineering team, focusing on the development of high-speed interfaces between compute accelerators and next-generation networking platforms.   Key Responsibilities: Define FPGA microarchitecture in collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Produce and present detailed technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Implement RTL designs, including synthesis and timing closure activities. Develop and execute verification plans, including simulation using SystemVerilog. Build, deploy, and validate FPGA-based lab platforms for testing and customer evaluation.  Required Experience & Skills: Strong industry experience in FPGA development for high-speed networking and processor interfacing (Ideally 100Gbps+). Familiarity with high-performance interconnect standards such as PCIe, RDMA, CXL, NVLink, or similar. Proficiency in hardware description languages such as SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL, and experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g. Python, TCL). Hands-on experience with industry-standard simulation and verification tools. Familiarity with major FPGA toolchains (e.g. Xilinx or Intel ecosystems). Exposure to embedded systems, including soft-core processors and SoC environments.  Benefits: Salary circa £115,000 depending on experience.
