Welder Fabricator

Welder Fabricator Mostly MIG based with some TIG, working with Mild and Stainless Steel.

While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.
Day shift role 7:30am to 4:00pm Mon Fri.
We are currently working with an established engineering manufacturer to help recruit for a skilled Welder Fabricator. Chance to be part of a smaller, friendly working team who enjoy variety and supporting with a range of tasks around the workshop e.g. fitting. Excellent work culture.
Salary: £18.00 to £20.00 per hourdepending on experience.
This Welder Fabricator job will suit: A skilled Welder Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker who is comfortable to working across different projects.
MIG and TIG experience is an advantage.
Scope to use wider machinery / learn new skills. Wider sheet metal experience would be useful, but not essential.
Being able to support in other areas around the workshop during quieter periods.

The Welder Fabricator job will involve: Ensuring that production schedules are met.
MIG and TIG welding. We are ok with light / minimal experience around this if you are more of a fabricator by trade,
Designing and creating welding fixtures to improve efficiency
Validate your own and others work to ensure they meet the required specification.
Setting up and operating fabrication equipment.
This job is commutable from Measham, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Swadlincote, Coalville, Burton, Derby, Tamworth.
