Were looking for a confident Deputy Manager to join a small, independent nursery setting caring for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
This is a non-room-based role, ideal for an existing Deputy Manager or a strong Room Leader / Senior Practitioner ready to step up.
Key responsibilities:
Support the Nursery Manager in day-to-day operations
Lead, motivate, and inspire the team
Oversee learning, observations, and assessments (Tapestry)
Support curriculum delivery and team development
Ensure strong inclusion and SEND practice
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 childcare qualification
Proven experience as a Deputy Manager, or a competent Room Leader / Senior Practitioner ready to progress
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Working pattern:
4 days per week (7:45am6:30pm) or 9 days xwzovoh over 2 weeks
Salary:
£36,000£40,000 (depending on experience)
