Support Worker - Children's Residential Location: Birmingham, B3 Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour Shifts: Days & Nights Available (Flexible) Contract: Agency / Flexible Shifts Shift Patterns AM: 7:00am - 2:30pm Afternoon: 12:00pm - 7:30pm Night: 7:00pm - 7:00am About the Role We are recruiting for a Support Worker to provide cover within an Ofsted-registered children's residential home. You will support young people in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. Key Requirements Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards - essential) Experience within children's residential care Strong safeguarding knowledge Able to work flexible day and night shifts Compliance Requirements Full employment history required Written explanations for any gaps References and compliance checks must be completed prior to booking Responsibilities Support children and young people in daily routines Promote independence and positive behaviour Safeguard and protect at all times Maintain accurate records
