Maintenance Supervisor Location: Leicestershire Salary: £55,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday - Days Based Flexibility Required: Initial flexibility to support occasional night shift cover during onboarding and transition period. An established and highly respected manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support the site engineering function at a busy production facility in Leicestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineering professional with strong leadership experience who is looking to join a stable organisation with long-term growth plans and significant investment in operations. Key Responsibilities Supervising and supporting a team of maintenance engineers across site operations Coordinating planned preventative maintenance schedules and reactive maintenance activities Driving engineering standards, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives Supporting production teams to minimise downtime and maximise plant efficiency Assisting with fault finding on a range of mechanical and electrical equipment Managing contractor activity and ensuring work is completed to site standards Supporting engineering projects, upgrades, and installation work Providing technical guidance and mentoring to engineering staff Candidate Requirements Previous experience within a Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering Team Leader, or Senior Maintenance Engineer position Strong background within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment Good understanding of both mechanical and electrical maintenance principles Proven ability to lead teams and prioritise workloads effectively Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Experience working with preventative maintenance systems and continuous improvement activities Flexible and proactive approach with a strong focus on health & safety The Opportunity Days-based Monday to Friday role Competitive salary of £55,000 per annum Stable and well-established business Opportunity to play a key role within the engineering leadership team Long-term progression and development opportunities available
