People Solutions are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator to join our busy client based in Irlam, Greater Manchester .

Our client is looking for experienced CNC Operators to support fabrication on the shop floor, producing both small and large one-off cabinets, with the opportunity to develop further into setting and programming.

Shifts:
Monday - Friday: 08:00 – 16:30 (early finish on Fridays)
Salary:
£27,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience

Day-to-day duties:
As a CNC Operator , your duties will include (but not be limited to):
Operating CNC Elumatec, CNC HAAS, and dual mitre saw machinery
Producing cabinets and lockers to specification
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Supporting machine set up and adjustments
Carrying out routine machine maintenance
Troubleshooting basic production issues
Maintaining accurate production and material records
Working to precise measurements and tolerances
Essential skills:
To be successful as a CNC Operator , you will need:
Previous experience within CNC machining or a similar manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Good xwzovoh mechanical knowledge and problem-solving ability
Experience using hand tools and working with materials
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Stable work history within manufacturing or CNC environments
Training:
Full training will be provided, with additional support throughout
