Supported Housing Officer

Supported Housing Officer Location: NW London Rate: £19-20 Per Hour Contract: 6 Months Contract Working Pattern: On-patch, community-based (daily presence required) I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Supported Housing Officer on behalf of a housing provider delivering frontline support to vulnerable adults in the community. This is a patch-based role, requiring daily visits and face-to-face engagement with residents. The service supports individuals with mental health needs, domestic violence histories, asylum seekers and ex-offenders, so candidates must be confident managing complex cases and risk. The Role * Provide housing-related support to vulnerable residents to help sustain tenancies * Manage a caseload of residents with complex needs * Carry out regular patch visits, welfare checks and risk assessments * Develop and review support plans and complete safeguarding referrals * Work closely with external agencies including mental health teams, probation and local authorities * Record accurate case notes and maintain compliance with service standards The Ideal Candidate * Proven experience in supported housing, floating support or tenancy sustainment * Experience working with mental health, domestic abuse, asylum seekers or ex-offenders * Strong safeguarding knowledge and confident risk management skills * Comfortable working independently on patch, five days a week * Excellent communication and report-writing skills
