We're recruiting a Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at a popular, food-led pub in York, offering a great opportunity for an enthusiastic chef to work in a busy operation where good food, consistency and a strong team ethic are at the heart of everything.

This is a well-established pub with a strong reputation for its food, attracting a mix of local customers and visitors looking for quality dishes in a relaxed and welcoming setting. It's a busy kitchen with plenty going on, so you'll need to enjoy the pace of service and take real pride in producing good, honest food to a consistently high standard.

They're now looking for a Sous Chef who can support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen, help bring the best out of the team and play an important part in keeping the operation running smoothly.
