Café Assistant / Kitchen Assistant Location: South Kensington, London We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Café/Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team in South Kensington. The Role This is a hands-on position that involves basic food preparation alongside front-of-house duties. While previous experience is helpful, full training will be provided for the right person. Key Responsibilities * Basic food preparation and cooking (training provided) * Preparing and serving hot drinks, including coffee * Counter service and customer interaction * Stock ordering and stock taking * Maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness * Supporting the team with general café duties Skills & Experience * Basic cooking skills * Good understanding of food safety and hygiene * Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused * Reliable and able to work as part of a team * Willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities Working Hours * Currently a middle shift position * Flexibility required to open or close in the future * Ability to cover holidays and absences when needed This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a café environment and develop their skills.
