Finance Manager

An immediate start is on offer with a construction business in Castleford for a hands-on Finance Manager to work closely with and support the Financial Director. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day running of the finance function while also contributing to the wider financial management of the business. Key Responsibilities   Supporting the Financial Director with day-to-day finance operations Overseeing transactional finance (purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll support) Producing monthly management accounts Managing cashflow and supporting forecasting activities Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close Supporting budgeting and cost control across projects Liaising with operational teams to provide financial insight Assisting with year-end and external accountant/auditor queries About You   Proven experience in a hands-on Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant role Comfortable working across both operational and strategic finance tasks Strong systems skills (Sage or similar preferred) Proactive, organised, and able to work closely with senior leadership What’s on Offer   Key role working directly with the Financial Director Broad and varied position with real business exposure Stable and growing construction business Supportive, down-to-earth team environment If you are interested in this Finance Manager opportunity or would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact Richard Warwick at IPS Finance.
