User Researcher (UCD Government) - Remote - Circa £450 per day outside ir35 - 6 months

My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are seeking an experienced User Researcher to join a multidisciplinary User-Centred Design (UCD) team within a central government client.
You will play a key role in ensuring services are designed around user needs, aligning with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience working within UK central government environments
Strong knowledge and practical application of GDS principles and service standards
Demonstrable experience using mixed research methods (e.g. interviews, usability testing, surveys, analytics)
Expertise in synthesising complex research data into clear insights
Experience presenting findings and engaging with a range of stakeholders
Ability to advocate for user needs and embed user-centred design practices
Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG)
Experience contributing to service assessments and GDS audits
