About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to take full operational responsibility for a domiciliary care service based in Cardiff. This role offers the opportunity to lead, stabilise and grow a community-based care service while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, quality and person-centred care.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring full compliance with CIW and RISCA regulations, supporting and developing a diverse care team, and driving service improvement and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational leadership for a domiciliary care service supporting adults in their own homes
Ensure full compliance with CIW, RISCA and internal policies and procedures
Lead, motivate and develop care staff through supervision, training and performance management
Oversee safeguarding, risk management, audits and quality assurance processes
Coordinate care delivery, rotas and on-call duties to ensure all care packages are safely covered
Conduct assessments, reviews and amendments of care and risk assessments
Manage complaints, incidents and investigations professionally and thoroughly
Maintain accurate records, documentation and Statements of Purpose
Build strong relationships with families, professionals and external stakeholders
Drive service development, referrals and ethical business growth beyond local authority frameworks
Requirements
Significant experience within domiciliary care (essential)
Experience as a Registered Manager or in a senior management role (preferred)
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
Strong knowledge of CIW/RISCA legislation and regulatory standards
Proven ability to lead, stabilise and develop care teams
Excellent organisational, communication and decision-making skills
Full UK driving licence and access xwzovoh to a vehicle
Flexible approach, including on-call responsibilities
