Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver (Reach Truck & Counterbalance)

We are recruiting on behalf of our Client an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver with valid Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance forklift licences to join a busy and well-established distribution warehouse in Newbury. Key Responsibilities * Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately * Operating Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts safely * Goods in / goods out processing within a busy warehouse environment * Labelling, scanning, and updating warehouse management systems * Identifying and reporting damaged or missing stock * Maintaining health & safety standards in the warehouse * Supporting general warehouse duties and logistics operations Skills & Experience Required * Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative / Warehouse Worker / Picker Packer * Valid Reach Truck Forklift Licence and/or Counterbalance Forklift Licence * Experience operating warehouse equipment and forklift trucks * Strong understanding of warehouse processes and stock control * Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution / logistics environment * Good attention to detail and accuracy in order picking * Team player with a reliable and hardworking attitude Desirable Skills * PPT (Pedestrian Pallet Truck) licence * Experience in logistics, distribution, or fulfilment centres * Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) Benefits * Stable full-time, temp-to-perm warehouse job * Monday to Friday schedule – no weekend work * Competitive hourly pay: £13.45 per hour * Supportive and safety-focused warehouse environment * Career development within a growing logistics company Location This role is ideal for candidates based in or around: Newbury, Thatcham, Reading, Basingstoke, Berkshire, Hampshire
