Salary: £30,000£35,000

My client, a well-established precision engineering manufacturer, is looking for a Multi-Skilled Machine Tool Fitter to join their team. This hands-on role focuses on building and assembling high-precision machinery to exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Build and assemble complex machinery from engineering and assembly drawings
Carry out precision fitting, including bearings and close tolerance components
Perform drilling, tapping, and general fitting work
Install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including testing and calibration
Install pipework, cabling, switches, sensors, and motors
Use toolroom machinery such as lathes, mills, and grinders
Support customer site visits when required
Requirements
Strong experience in machine tool building xwzovoh or complex mechanical assembly
Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
Experience working to tight tolerances
Competent with workshop machinery and lifting equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
