Finance Specialist - Accounting Operations (SAP software experience)

Role: Finance Specialist - Accounting Operations ( At least 3- 4 years of accounting experience using SAP)

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Location: Leicester, LE6 0FH (4 days/week office)
Duration : 6 months contract
Start date: Immediate Responsibilities, Authorities & Accountabilities:
o Provide general accounting support for month-end close while the team works toward LCD+3
o Perform and support:
o Journal entries
o Month-end close activities
o Account reconciliations
o Understand and interpret applicable
Enterprise Standards, SOPs, and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process/accounting services
o Identify and flag flaws in approaches, methods, procedures, and processes, and recommend improvements
o Provide payments support, focused on:
o Processing payments across 25 bank accounts / 7 legal entities
o Supporting resolution of misdirected payments and other banking-related activities coming from BR HQ

Required Qualifications
o Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, xwzovoh or
o High school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Finance
o Minimum 4 years of experience using SAP in accounting operations.
