The Job You’ll Do; * Design, development, and delivery of electrical systems for a range of projects * Design and manufacture of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and regulations. * Work closely with estimators to prepare accurate project cost estimates and schedules. * Develop and review CAD designs and schematics for LV electrical systems ensuring all designs meet regulatory and safety requirements. * Coordinate with manufacturing and installation teams to ensure designs are translated effectively into final products. * Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of engineering solutions. * Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members. * Ensure quality assurance and control standards are met at all stages of the project lifecycle. * Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation within the engineering team * Liaise with clients and other stakeholders, ensuring all expectations are met or exceeded. * Drive continuous improvement within the electrical engineering processes and team. * Oversee electrical projects from design through to installation and commissioning * Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution About You; * HNC or above in an electrical discipline essential. * Proven experience (2+ years) in electrical engineering / electrical control systems * Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN or similar) * Understanding of BS7671 wiring regulations, BS EN 61439 and IEC standards * Strong understanding of electrical schematics * Excellent problem-solving skills * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
