Senior Accountant – Accountancy Practice Lincoln  £40,000 to £45,000 plus excellent benefits Cherry Professional is delighted to partner with a fantastic firm of Accountants in Lincoln to appoint a Senior Accountant. This is a well-established firm, with an excellent client base spread across a range of industries.  They specialise in offering Accounting, Proactive Tax Planning  and Audit Services to Small and Medium Enterprises across the region, and this role is ideally suited to a Qualified Accountant with recent experience working in Practice. What’s the role all about? Working with a portfolio of clients, you’ll take responsibility for the preparation of Financial Statements, Management Accounts and Tax Returns.  You’ll ensure the Client’s VAT returns are accurate and timely.   You will be the main point of contact for all of your Clients, supporting them throughout their life cycles, and advising them on everything from filing their Accounts on time, through to tax and cash flow planning. You’ll need to have great communication skills for this job! You’ll be entrusted with Client relations from Day One and be part of the Team that delivers an excellent service to the Client Portfolio. You may also be involved with Client Audits, so we welcome applicates with Audit experience.  So what do I need to have? You need to be a Qualified Accountant with experience in the preparation of Financial Statements, Management Accounts and initial Tax Returns.  You’ll have great Client Management skills, and be the kind of person who enjoys giving a junior colleague a helping hand. Some Audit experience would be helpful as well. Strong knowledge of FRS 105/102 is a key requirement for this role.  What now?
