About the role

We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Internal Sales Executive to join our growing team on a part-time basis (approximately 30 hours per week). This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, developing sales opportunities, and supporting business growth within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Working closely with customers and colleagues across the business, you will play a key role in driving sales activity while ensuring an excellent customer experience. Key Responsibilities * Manage customer enquiries, quotations, and sales orders, providing a professional and responsive service at all times. * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to increase sales and develop accounts. * Proactively follow up quotations, leads, and enquiries to maximise conversion rates and support revenue growth. * Work closely with the wider sales team to support business development initiatives and achieve sales targets. * Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and sales information within the company's CRM and ERP systems. * Liaise with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently and customer expectations are met. * Produce sales reports and pipeline updates, contributing ideas to improve sales processes and customer engagement. Skills & Experience Essential * Previous experience in an internal sales, sales support, account management, or customer service role. * Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach. * Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems. * Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Desirable * Experience within manufacturing, engineering, technical products, or distribution sectors. * Knowledge of quotation management, sales pipelines, and order processing. Personal Attributes * Proactive, self-motivated, and commercially aware. * Confident communicating with customers and colleagues at all levels. * Well organised with strong attention to detail. * Positive team player with a passion for delivering excellent service and supporting business growth.
