Business Development Manager – Fire Protection & Security

North West 💰 £45,000 Basic + Bonus + Progression + Car allowance An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing specialist within the Fire Protection & Security industry. The business delivers tailored solutions across fire suppression systems, sprinklers, gas suppression, fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and integrated life safety systems for commercial and industrial clients across the UK. About You We're keen to hear from candidates who have experience in some or all of the following: * Business development, account management or sales experience within the fire, security, life safety or building services sectors * A proven track record of growing existing accounts while developing new business opportunities * Knowledge of fire alarm systems, fire safety services or related compliance-led environments * Experience using CRM systems to manage opportunities, customer activity and forecasting * Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills . The Role - You will play a key role in driving new and existing business growth and developing long-term client relationships across the fire protection, M&E, and facilities sectors. Responsibilities include: • Generating and developing new business opportunities • Building relationships with contractors, consultants, FM companies, and end users • Promoting fire suppression, sprinkler, and security solutions • Managing the sales process from enquiry through to project handover • Working closely with operational and technical teams • Attending client meetings and networking events • Developing repeat business and long-term partnerships
