Communications Manager

Job Description Comms Manager role in a growing West End law firm. London with hybrid working. Great role for a Senior Executive stepping up to Manager! /n /n This London law firm, known for its Private Client and Real Estate work, is looking for a communications professional to join the team, as part of team growth. The role will suit a strong content writer who is looking for a role where they can bring ideas and creativity. /n /n This role will report into the Senior Comms Manager and work closely with a Senior Digital Executive who leads on the social media channels. The role will focus on the delivery of client focused communications and the content programme, working closely with the BD team on practice and sector specific content. /n /n Responsibilities include: /n Content: /n /n - Supporting the lawyers in translating complex legal issues into engaging content; Managing and developing content plans in line with strategic priorities; Coordinating the creation of content across written, audio and video; Tracking content trends across the sector, recommending new approaches, where relevant; /n /n PR: /n /n - Handling inbound media enquiries; Identifying media and PR opportunities for practice groups; Maintaining and developing relationships with journalists; Tracking and reporting on the firm’s media coverage; Drafting media materials, /n /n /n The role will work with a supportive Senior Comms Manager and BD Director, so they are open to someone stepping up and growing in this role. Legal or wider professional services experience is essential. Candidates must have excellent written ability, and PR experience would be desirable, but the firm is open to someone coming from a broader role, who wants to develop on the PR side. /n /n Hybrid working: The firm operates a 50% hybrid model; however, ask that new employees are in the office full time for the first month for onboarding and to meet the relevant stakeholders.
