Head of English - Maidstone, Kent Area Permanent Position Start Date: September 2026We are currently seeking an ambitious and inspirational Head of English to lead a successful English department at a highly regarded independent school in the Maidstone area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced English teacher looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in shaping the future of the department. The successful candidate will lead and develop the English curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning while inspiring both students and colleagues. You will be responsible for driving achievement, supporting staff development and creating a culture where students are encouraged to develop confidence, creativity and a genuine passion for English.
