Graduate Town Planner Location: London Salary: Competitive + benefits A well-regarded independent planning consultancy is seeking a Graduate Town Planner to join its London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate to begin their career in a dynamic environment, working on a wide range of high-quality projects across the capital and beyond. The Role Working alongside experienced planning professionals, you will support the delivery of planning advice and applications across sectors including residential, mixed-use, commercial, and urban regeneration. Key responsibilities will include: Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals Undertaking planning policy research and site appraisals Supporting the drafting of planning statements, reports, and supporting documents Engaging with local authorities, clients, and consultants Monitoring changes in planning policy and legislationAbout You A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline A strong interest in progressing towards MRTPI status (full support provided) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail A proactive and professional approach to work Previous internship or work experience in planning is advantageous but not essentialWhat's on Offer Structured training and clear career progression Full support towards RTPI accreditation Opportunity to work on a diverse and high-profile project portfolio A collaborative and forward-thinking team environment Competitive salary and benefits packageThis is a great opportunity to join a respected consultancy and build a long-term career in town planning.
