Management Accountant

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Buntingford who are recruiting for a Management Accountant on a full-time basis, for an initial 12-month contract. This is a fully office-based role, and you will ideally be part-qualified with experience in a similar accounting position. This is a varied opportunity within a fast-paced environment, supporting both the transactional and month-end accounting function. Typical duties include: • Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting with month-end processes • Completing bank reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies • Supporting the transactional finance function including purchase and sales ledger where required • Assisting with accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the accounting system is up to date • Supporting cashflow monitoring and daily banking activities • Working closely with the wider finance team to support day-to-day accounting operations • Assisting with reporting and analysis to support business decision making • Supporting year-end processes and audit preparation where required • Providing general accounting support across the finance department You will have: • Previous experience within a management accounting or general finance role • Ideally be studying towards ACCA/CIMA or be part-qualified • A proactive and hands-on approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail If this role looks like the new challenge that you are looking for, please apply via the advert or contact John at Eclectic Recruitment.
