Hygiene Operative – Days & Nights

This Hygiene Operative role is where standards are set, not followed. If you take pride in doing things properly and understand how critical hygiene is in food production, this is your chance to step into a role that directly protects product quality, safety, and reputation from the ground up.  What’s in it for you An hourly rate of £15.00 - £18.00 with stable ongoing work Hands-on role with clear structure and expectations Work that directly impacts product safety and compliance Opportunity to build specialist knowledge in hygiene and food safety systems Structured cleaning schedules and processes – no guesswork Exposure to high-standard manufacturing environments and procedures Your responsibilities as Hygiene Operative Clean production areas, machinery, and equipment to strict hygiene standards Follow Cleaning Instruction Cards (CIC) using correct chemicals and equipment Maintain hygiene across floors, walls, drains, machinery, and communal areas Ensure full compliance with COSHH and chemical handling procedures Complete and sign off daily, weekly, and scheduled cleaning records Support hygiene verification processes including swabbing and validation checks What we’re looking for in a Hygiene Operative Previous experience in hygiene, cleaning, or food production environments A full, UK driving licence (essential) Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe chemical handling Experience following structured cleaning schedules and compliance processes Ability to work with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals Understanding of hygiene standards within a manufacturing setting Working hours – both day & night shifts are available and can be discussed upon application.  If you’re ready to step into a Hygiene Operative position where standards matter and your work has real impact, apply now
