About the role

Quantity Surveyor – Macclesfield – 40 to 55k DOE With Benefits – Permanent The client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team and play a pivotal role in the commercial management of engineering and infrastructure projects. This position offers the opportunity to work across a variety of sectors, including water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear, and food & beverage industries. Requirements: * Preparing and agreeing valuations, variations, final accounts, and payment certificates, ensuring all contractual notices are issued correctly * Completing take offs and tracking drawing changes. * Monitoring subcontract and labour costs to project margins and managing risk and supporting accurate cost control * Placing or contributing to subcontract order and tenders, checking material purchases stay within allowances. * Delivering projects commercially in line with agreed margins * Keeping senior commercial leads informed of risks or cost issues. * Carrying out any duties necessary for effective Quantity Surveying Qualifications and Experience: * A minimum of 5 years’ experience * Direct NEC3 or NEC4 experience * ME&I experience (preferred) * Experience in using the Oracle platform (preferred) * The flexibility to work in a sitebased role with opportunities to support other regional projects Benefits: * Company pension scheme * Death in service benefit * The opportunity to purchase additional holidays per year (up to 5) * Employee assistance programme * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays In addition: * Private Healthcare * Recommend a friend reward scheme * Overtime
