Cambridge (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
6-Month Contract
£36–£38 per hour
Morson Talent are recruiting on behalf of Marshall Land Systems for an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team in Cambridge. You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making, working closely with the Financial Controller and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities Lead month-end close including stock, GRNI, accruals, depreciation, and FX revaluations
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and post journals in line with controls
Oversee Purchase and Sales Ledger activities
Prepare monthly management accounts including P&L, cash flow, and variance analysis
Produce reporting packs for senior stakeholders
Monitor weekly cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting cycles
Manage VAT returns and intercompany reconciliations
Process payroll journals and support audits
Support ERP improvements and maintain strong financial controls
About You Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or xwzovoh equivalent
Strong experience in month-end, reconciliations, and reporting
Knowledge of VAT, payroll accounting, and financial controls
Advanced Excel and ERP system experience
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
This is a strong opportunity to gain exposure in a project-led, engineering environment with potential for a longer-term role.
