My client is a leading national hospitality group.
They are currently looking for a Head of Trading to join their team. The successful Head of Trading will be responsible for leading their commercial trading strategy, driving revenue growth, maximising profitability and optimising retail performance across their venues. You will work closely with marketing, operations, finance, and digital teams to ensure their venues perform at their highest potential across all channels. This role is ideal for a commercially minded leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused hospitality environment.

Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement the group-wide retail and trading strategy to drive revenue growth and profitability
Own pricing, promotions, and product performance across the venue portfolio
Analyse trading performance, identifying opportunities to optimise sales, margins, and customer spend
Lead demand forecasting, budgeting, and commercial performance analysis
Work closely with marketing to align trading plans with campaigns, events, and seasonal opportunities
Collaborate with operations to ensure retail initiatives are executed effectively in venue
Monitor customer behaviour, booking trends, and market dynamics to inform decision-making
Implement reporting frameworks, dashboards, and performance metrics to support data-led trading decisions
Manage supplier relationships and support product range development where relevant
The Ideal Head of Trading Candidate:
Proven experience in a senior retail, trading, or commercial xwzovoh role within hospitality, leisure, retail, or consumer-facing sector.
Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, promotions, and revenue optimisation
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Experience managing multi-site retail or hospitality environments
Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
