Sales Manager
Buckinghamshire – 4 days pw on site

Copello are working with a defence client who are looking for a Sales Manager to develop sales of products marketed by the client into UK and worldwide military and commercial aerospace markets. This involves the building of effective relationships with equipment and OEMs as well as promoting the products to end-users worldwide and the maintenance of effective routes to market for a Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities
* Agreeing and managing sales order intake targets for the Company’s and affiliates products into a defined geographic sales territory.
* Provide sales product management support for the sales team for a key product marketed by the Company.
* Definition and maintenance of the appropriate routes to market for the assigned territory.
* Maintenance and timely reporting of the forecast order intake pipeline for the territory.
* Identify and manage the justification of Profitable New Business through the initial phases of the bid cycle.
* Also establishing the Value based Pricing for your customers/Opportunities
* Working in a coordinated way within the sales team, towards team goals.
Competencies
* Ability to work in a close team environment, making use of and supporting the actions of others to further the objectives of the business.
* Self motivated and capable of operating independently within agreed guidelines.
* Results driven, can do attitude with a bias for action.
* Ability to build long term relationships with both engineering and commercial customers.
* Credibility and gravitas to effectively influence senior decision makers internal and externally.
Experience required
* Appropriate first Degree or equivalent preferred
* In depth of knowledge of product sales and marketing experience in the defence market.
* Experience and proven track record in understanding military sales.
* Experience of account management in the sales environment.
* Experience of international sales.
* Preferred - Experience of technical sales of antenna and communications technologies.
