Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Commercial Office (EC1, Central London) Electrical Maintenance Engineer | Commercial Electrical Engineer | Facilities Management Location: EC1, Central London Contract: Permanent, Full‑Time Salary: Upto £47,000 per annum DOE Sector: Facilities Management / Commercial Building Services Job Overview We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work within a commercial office building in EC1, Central London. This is a permanent position with a well‑established SME facilities management provider, delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across a modern office environment. This position would suit a Commercial Electrical Engineer, FM Engineer, or Building Services Engineer with strong experience in commercial office maintenance and facilities management. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical maintenance within a commercial office environment Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works Fault finding on lighting systems, power, small power, emergency lighting, and distribution boards Electrical testing, inspections, and basic compliance checks Minor electrical installation works and repairs Ensure compliance with 18th Edition wiring regulations and Health & Safety standards Complete job sheets, compliance reports, and CAFM updates Maintain a professional and customer‑focused approach at all times Candidate Requirements NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) 18th Edition (BS7671) – essential Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Commercial Electrician Experience working in commercial offices, corporate buildings, or facilities management environments Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a small FM team What’s On Offer Competitive salary depending on experience Stable Monday to Friday role (no call‑out) Long‑term work within a Central London commercial building Supportive SME business with direct access to management Uniform, tools, and PPE provided Career stability and progression opportunities How to Apply If you are an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a commercial office role in EC1, apply today with your CV or contact us for a confidential discussion.
