(SN7331) SIGN FITTER X1 & FITTERS MATE X1 SCOTLAND / NORTH EAST £Open DOE + Overtime at Time ½ + Van + Pension + Other Benefits TBD An established signage contractor is looking to recruit both an experienced Sign Fitter and a Fitters Mate to support projects across the Glasgow and Gateshead regions. Both roles will involve frequent travel and working away from home during the week. Sign Fitter Responsibilities: Installation of various signage types Leading or supporting installations on-site Maintaining high safety and quality standardsFitters Mate Responsibilities: Assisting the fitter with installations Preparing materials, tools, and site areas Supporting safe and efficient project deliveryRequirements: Fitter: Previous signage installation experience required Fitters Mate: Experience in construction or installation environments desirable Willingness to travel and stay away Monday to Friday CSCS card preferred IPAF, PASMA, SPA certifications advantageousHours & Pay: 38 contracted hours per week Overtime paid at time and a half Typical weekly earnings (48 hours): Fitter: approx. £820 Fitters Mate: approx. £730
