SEN Teaching Assistant – New Ash Green, Sittingbourne & Maidstone, Kent Location: New Ash Green, Sittingbourne & Maidstone, Kent Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Pay: £92 - £96 per day Contract: Full-time / Part-time Start Date: ASAP We are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs across schools in either New Ash Green, Sittingbourne, or Maidstone, Kent. This role is ideal for someone with proven SEN experience who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities – SEN Teaching Assistant: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN Support children with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment Requirements: Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting children with SEN – essential Strong understanding of a range of special educational needs Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach Ability to work effectively as part of a team Why work with the Supply Register: ✔ Flexible or long-term roles available ✔ Direct work with schools as a Managed Service Provider (MSP) ✔ Ongoing CPD and training opportunities If you are an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role across New Ash Green, Sittingbourne, and Maidstone, we would love to hear from you
