About the role

Public Health Wales is seeking a Communications Officer to join the News and External Affairs team on a fixed-term contract until January 2027. You will develop, deliver campaigns, identify news, respond to media enquiries and support public communications during health incidents and outbreaks.

You will write and edit press releases, articles and digital content, providing communications advice across Wales and with partners. The role offers flexible working and occasional travel across Wales.
