We are actively seeking a Fixed Assets & Treasury Accountant for a well established company in Manchester city centre.



This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.



The main duties include:

• Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring completeness and accuracy

\t

Calculate and post depreciation

\t

Review capital expenditure, ensuring correct approval

\t

Perform regular reconciliations between the fixed asset register and the general ledger

\t

Support the preparation of fixed asset disclosures for statutory accounts and audits

\t

Manage daily cash positioning, forecasting and liquidity reporting

\t

Monitor bank accounts, including reconciliations and review of cash movements

\t

Prepare month end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations relating to fixed assets and treasury

\t

Work closely with procurement, operations and project teams on capital projects

Our client is looking for a candidate who:

• 
  \t
• Is a part qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)

\t

Has fixed asset accounting experience

\t

Has experience or an understanding of treasury

\t

Has strong Excel skills
