Principal Town Planner Location: Gloucestershire Salary: Competitive + benefits I'm working with a well-established and highly respected planning consultancy, who are looking to appoint a Principal Town Planner to join their team in Gloucestershire. The Opportunity You'll be joining a boutique consultancy with an excellent reputation, known for delivering commercially focused planning advice across the South West and wider UK. This isn't a corporate environment, you'll have real responsibility, direct client exposure, and the chance to shape projects from day one. You'll be working across: ·Residential schemes (from small sites to major developments) ·Rural and heritage projects, including listed buildings ·Planning appeals and strategic land work ·Local plan and site promotion work   What You'll Be Doing In this role, you'll take ownership of projects and act as a trusted advisor to clients. That includes: ·Managing planning applications from early-stage advice through to determination ·Leading on appeals (written reps, hearings, inquiries) ·Undertaking site appraisals and providing strategic input ·Building and maintaining strong client relationships ·Supporting junior planners and contributing to team development ·Playing a role in the ongoing growth of the business   What They're Looking For ·MRTPI qualified (or close to achieving it) ·Strong experience in either consultancy or local authority ·A solid understanding of the UK planning system ·Confidence managing your own workload and client relationships ·Someone commercially aware, proactive, and personable   The salary for this role is negotiable and can be discussed during interview stage.   Don't miss out on this unique and swiftly moving opportunity!
