Site Civils Supervisor
Red Sky Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a leading surfacing and highways contractor
Red Sky Personnel are working with a well-established contractor delivering a range of highways, infrastructure, and associated civils projects across London and the Southeast.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to bring on an experienced Site Civils Supervisor to oversee a long-term contract in the Surrey area, operating from their Middlesex office.
The Role
This is a hybrid position combining both site supervision and office-based planning. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
The role will focus heavily on civils packages alongside surfacing works, including drainage, groundworks, and road construction.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily site activities across groundworks, drainage, road construction, and associated civils works
Manage both direct labour and subcontractors across multiple live sites
Coordinate labour, plant, and materials to meet programme deadlines
Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, delivering toolbox talks, site briefings, and RAMS
Carry out site inspections and maintain high-quality standards throughout
Liaise with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and local authorities
Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and resolve on-site issues efficiently
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within civils, groundworks, or highways projects
Strong knowledge of drainage, roadworks, and general infrastructure works
Experience working alongside surfacing or highways environments
Valid SMSTS or SSSTS
CSCS card (essential)
Full UK driving licence
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple sites and work under pressure
Desirable
NRSWA (Supervisor)
First Aid at Work
Experience working on highways or local authority frameworks
