Mechanical Technician Overhaul Technician Rolling Stock Heavy Technician Looking for a new role? Dont want to work Nights? We are looking for an experienced MechanicalTechnicians to carry out Heavy maintenance on a fleet of vehicles in Derby on a 18 month Contract basis. This role has a rate of £19.59 ph PAYE or £26.59 Umb -  40 hours a week, Monday to Friday Days only!! with potential overtime The individuals must have experience in some form of Maintenance or  overhaul of Rolling stock or Heavy equipment/Vehicles such as Diggers, Plant, Tractors, HGVs, Armoured/Tracked vehicles etc Your Tasks Carry out maintenance and overhaul of Rail Vehicles to laid down standards and procedures Working on the underframes of rail vehicles to refit/replace components as part of the overhaul. Your Profile Essential:   Experienced engineer, qualified to NVQ Level 3. Proven experience of either involvement and understanding of rail vehicle heavy maintenance activities such as underframe or bogie overhauls or alternatively experience in a heavy Engineering industry such as plant, REME, HGV, PSV, Tractors etc Understanding of Depot Operations, along with working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering (desirable) If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, Please Apply!
