Geography Teacher

New Directions are currently recruiting for a Geography Teacher to work in a Secondary school based in Longsight. The role is starting ASAP on a full time, long term basis until the end of the academic year. The School: * Mainstream secondary school based in Longsight * Ofsted-rated ‘Good” the school is recognised for its strong leadership, high-quality teaching, and commitment to pupil development. * Supportive and pro-active senior leadership team The Role: * Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 * Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental development * Support the school’s vision and values, and foster a positive learning environment The Candidate will: * Hold a PGCE and UK QTS (or QTLS) * Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges. * Manage behaviour * Build relationships with students
