Dealership Accountant

Our client, a reputable and multi-award-winning car dealer group operating across South Wales and Southern England, is seeking a highly skilled Dealer Accountant to oversee financial operations at their dealership in Oxford. Benefits: Salary range of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience Performance-related bonus of approximately £5,000 annually 31 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays Company car provided Contributory pension scheme Enhanced annual leave entitlement Access to manufacturer-accredited training and development programmes Employee support programme through benefits platform Staff purchase discounts on vehicle parts and servicing Life insurance cover of 3x salary Opportunity to work within a multi-award-winning dealership group with long-term career progressionDuties: Production of management accounts for dealership sites Full monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet and accounts Supporting non-financial managers with financial insights and information Assisting the central accounts team with various financial processes Maintaining Kerridge (Keyloop) dealer management system to ensure data accuracy and compliance Ensuring all financial activities adhere to company policies and industry standards Preparing documentation and schedules for internal and external auditors Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to aid financial decision-makingRequirements: Proven experience as a Dealership Accountant or similar role within a fast-paced automotive environment Well-presented with a positive work ethic and detail-oriented approach Highly organised, able to meet strict deadlines, and an effective team player Enthusiastic with a proactive problem-solving attitude IT literate, ideally with Kerridge/Keyloop experience Full UK driving licence with minimal points Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and dealership accounting proceduresThis is a fantastic opportunity for a professional seeking to join a successful, award-winning dealership group with clear career development pathways.
