Field Service Engineer (Electrical), East Midlands, £34,004 - £37,842 + OT availability OTE 40-46k

ATA are working with a specialist provider of energy and power quality services, who are looking to add a service engineer of electrical bias to their team. This organisation supports industrial and manufacturing sites in understanding, monitoring, and optimising their electrical usage, providing detailed energy surveys and installing equipment that help identify inefficiencies within the power supply.
About the role
As a field service engineer, you will be responsible or traveling to customer sites which include manufacturing, residential and large commercial properties.
Responsibilities include:
- Full servicing and providing breakdown cover on all product range.
- Safe Isolation of the electrical units.
- Fault finding utilising various electrical testing equipment.
- General Inspection of components including cabling, checking for fraying and burning and signs of overheating.
- Checking terminations are all connected properly.
- General cleaning of components.
- Providing quotes for upgrades and replacement of components
About you
To be considered for the field service engineer position you should be/have the following:
- Previous experience working as within an engineering environment, within an electrical capacity.
- Electrical fault-finding skills, ability to use different electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to work within a customer facing environment - Strong communication skills, polite, professional and personable.
- Recognised electrical engineering qualification, level 3, City and Guilds, NVQ, AM2 Or equivalent.
- Full & clean drivers licence.
