Experienced Roofer Permanent Opportunity Lincoln £22.00 - £25.00 per hour + Company Van & Fuel Allowance We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing construction business for an experienced Roofer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a variety of residential and commercial projects, using a wide range of roofing materials and techniques, with a company that values quality workmanship and safety. The Role As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems to a high standard. You will work on diverse projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with specifications. Key Responsibilities Installing roofing systems including felt, tiles, slates, and leadwork Carrying out repairs and replacements of damaged roofing components Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications Using hand tools, power tools, and specialist roofing equipment Undertaking structural and carpentry-related roofing tasks where required Assisting with roof drainage systems and associated elements Ensuring strict adherence to health & safety regulations Maintaining a clean and organised working environment Requirements NVQ Level 2 in Tiling & Slating (minimum) Minimum 5 years' roofing experience Valid CSCS Skilled Worker Card (Blue or Gold) Full UK Driving Licence Strong knowledge of roofing materials and installation techniques Ability to work at height safely and confidently Good level of physical fitness Desirable: Experience with welding or fabrication Broader construction knowledge (carpentry, masonry, plumbing) What's on Offer Competitive hourly rate (£22.00 £25.00 DOE) Company van with fuel allowance Company pension scheme Stable, long-term opportunity with consistent hours (approx. 35 per week) If you're an experienced Roofer looking for your next opportunity with a reputable contractor, apply today or get in touch for more information
