The Role

Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Social Worker to join a service in South Yorkshire working within an acute mental health setting on a part-time basis (3–4 days per week).

Details

The role involves supporting adults within an acute mental health environment, completing assessments, care planning, and safeguarding work. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support safe discharge planning and ongoing community support.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload within acute mental health services
• Complete psychosocial and risk assessments
• Develop and implement care and discharge plans
• Undertake safeguarding assessments and interventions
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
• Liaise with families, community services, and external agencies
• Maintain accurate case records and reports

Requirements

• Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent)
• Registration with xwzovoh Social Work England
• Experience within mental health services, ideally acute settings
• Strong safeguarding and risk assessment experience
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
