If so, this is an exciting opportunity to take on a Classroom Assistant role in a highly respected primary school in Weston-super-Mare.

A welcoming, bright and child-centred primary school based in Weston-super-Mare is currently recruiting for a Classroom Assistant to support and promote learning in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.

This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers to begin their career in education and gain valuable insight into the National Curriculum.

As a Classroom Assistant, you will work alongside skilled and dedicated teachers to help create a dynamic and effective learning environment where pupils can thrive and reach their full potential.

This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same.

You will support and engage pupils in their learning, assist with delivering creative and well-structured lessons, and help spark those all-important 'light-bulb' moments.

This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate considering a career in education or an experienced Classroom Assistant looking for a new challenge.

Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.

Relevant experience may include mentoring, coaching, tutoring, nursery work, childcare, or classroom-based support.

Experience supporting children with ASD, behavioural needs, or learning difficulties would be highly beneficial.

The successful candidate will support learning across the curriculum, from core subjects such as Maths and English to foundation subjects like Geography and PE.
