Offline Programmer Poole £44,800 – £49,800 per year A well-established precision engineering business in Poole is looking to recruit an experienced Offline Programmer to join their manufacturing engineering team. This is a key opportunity for a skilled Offline Programmer who can develop efficient CNC programmes and support high-quality production across multi-axis machining environments. This Offline Programmer role offers strong long-term stability, involvement in complex projects, and the chance to directly influence manufacturing efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Create and develop CNC programmes offline for 3, 4, and 5-axis machine tools Produce tool definitions, setup sheets, and tooling plans Prove out programmes and support smooth transition into production Develop and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality Define production routings, tooling, work holding, and inspection requirements Collaborate with quality teams to ensure inspection plans are met Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives Contribute to new product introduction and lifecycle planningEssential Skills & Experience Proven experience as an Offline Programmer Strong background in CNC machining (milling and turning) Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications Experience with CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360 or similar preferred) Knowledge of multi-axis machining and tooling strategies Understanding of lean manufacturing principles Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Confident communicator across teams and departmentsBenefits £44,800 – £49,800 per year Stable, full-time permanent position Involvement in advanced multi-axis machining projects Opportunity to shape processes and improve manufacturing performance Supportive and technically driven engineering environment Long-term progression potentialIf you’re an experienced Offline Programmer who wants to be part of a business that values precision, people, and progress, get in touch.
