Job Title: QTS SEN Tutor Core Subjects (Trafford)
Location: Trafford
Pay Rate: GBP30 per hour (starting rate)
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | 20 hours per week
We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified QTS SEN Tutor to join our team in Trafford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and those working below expected levels. Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one GCSE Maths and English lessons, tailored to SEN students' individual needs.
Adapt teaching methods to support emotional regulation, social development, and different learning styles.
Help students build their confidence, subject knowledge, study skills, and exam readiness.
Create a consistent, safe, and supportive learning environment through strong student rapport.
Track progress and provide constructive feedback to parents, carers, or professionals when needed.
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths or English.
Experience working with SEN students in a one-to-one or small group setting.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
Desirable Qualifications:
PGCE in Secondary Education.
Experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
