Ground Worker

We're Hiring: 📍 Manchester 💷 £18.40 per hour | Temporary - Perm We're looking for an experienced Groundworker to join our in-house Repairs Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to residents' lives, delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent customer service in a social housing environment. 🔧 What you'll be doing: ✔️ Carrying out groundwork, fencing, slabbing, paving, brickwork, and pointing ✔️ Completing domestic repair and adaptation works, including ramps and basic concrete works ✔️ Working as part of a 2-person mobile team across Trafford and surrounding areas ✔️ Supporting drainage repair and renewal, tarmac patching, manhole repairs, and other wet trades ✔️ Providing outstanding customer service while ensuring a high standard of work 👷 What we're looking for: * Experience in groundworks, masonry, and wet trades (concrete works, slabbing, paving, fencing) * Knowledge of building and housing maintenance, preferably in social housing * Ability to work safely, efficiently, and with a first-time fix approach * Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with vulnerable residents * Full driving licence 💼 What's on offer: 💷 £18.40 per hour 🔄 Temporary with view to permanent after 12 weeks 🚐 Company vehicle, PDA fuel card, uniform, PPE, and parking provide RG Setsquare is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
