About the role
A well-established engineering company based in Alfreton is looking to recruit a Trainee Profile Blender to support the production of precision components. This hands-on role involves the use of abrasive belt machines to blend and finish metal parts, such as turbine blades.
This position requires excellent attention to detail and a steady hand, ideal for someone looking to step into the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate abrasive belt machines to blend and finish metal components
* Inspect finished parts for quality and consistency
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Support wider production processes as needed
Requirements:
* Experience using abrasive belt machines or working in a similar environment is desirable
* Prior background in finishing, polishing or belt machine work is desirable
* A steady hand and keen eye for detail are essential
* Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

This role is temp to perm, paying £12.71 per hour and is working Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30 and Friday: 07:00 – 14:00
