Diagnostic Vehicle Technician in Swansea Our client, a reputable family-run franchise-approved dealership in Swansea, is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their established team. Benefits: * Competitive starting salary of up to £17-18.50 per hour, depending on experience * Performance-related bonus scheme worth up to £350 per month * Paid overtime at an enhanced rate of time and a half after 40 hours per week * 22 days annual holiday plus bank holidays * Comprehensive in-house and manufacturer-approved training programmes * Access to career development opportunities within a long-standing dealership * Enhanced annual leave entitlements and internal employee benefits * Workplace pension scheme Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician: * Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in line with dealership standards * accurately diagnose vehicle faults and report findings to the Workshop Controller * Ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and performance meet required standards * Adhere strictly to quality procedures and diagnostic protocols set by the dealership * Maintain up-to-date knowledge on vehicle systems and diagnostic tools * Work effectively as part of a team within a busy workshop environment * Document all work performed accurately and efficiently Requirements: * IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair * Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a main dealership environment * Strong diagnostic skills and background in fault finding * UK driving licence with minimal points * MOT licence is highly advantageous but not essential * Ability to work to high standards with attention to detail * Professional attitude and good communication skills This Diagnostic Vehicle Technician position is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and skilled professional to advance their career within a supportive and well-established dealership.
