Multi Skilled Operative

An established energy and recycling operation is looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Operative to support day-to-day site activities. The role requires flexibility across multiple operational areas to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant plant performance.

Key Responsibilities
Operate across multiple site functions, including: Weighbridge operations
Forklift / loading shovel / grab handling
Traffic marshalling
Picking line/recycling activities

Carry out routine operational tasks including: Plant housekeeping, cleaning, and litter control
Clearing blockages and supporting maintenance activities
Completing site logs, inspections, and safety checks

Ensure strict adherence to HSE procedures (including LOTOTO and traffic management systems)
Report defects, safety concerns, and operational issues promptly
Support efficient running of weighbridge systems and accurate record keeping
Rotate across duties based on operational requirements
Work collaboratively with site teams to maximise productivity
Requirements
Experience in a production, waste, recycling, or industrial environment
Strong awareness of Health & Safety standards
Forklift licence (or experience with plant xwzovoh equipment such as shovel/grab)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Good communication and basic IT skills (for logs/weighbridge systems)
Desirable
Recycling or waste management background
Basic maintenance skills
Exposure to hazardous energy control systems
