Are you a fluent Welsh speaker with experience supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Cardiff.
About the Role
As a Welsh-speaking TA, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with ALN to access the curriculum and reach their full potential. You will work closely with the class teacher and ALNCo to deliver targeted support, both on a 1:1 basis and within small groups, through the medium of Welsh.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored classroom support for pupils with ALN
Assist in implementing Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
Support literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Contribute to a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
Essential Requirements
Fluent Welsh speaker (spoken and written)
Previous experience supporting children with ALN in a school setting
Strong xwzovoh understanding of inclusive education practices
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
Relevant TA qualification (desirable but not essential with experience)
