Electronics Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to work for an electronic equipment supplier based in Bicester. Responsibilities: • Design electronics for applications that include machine vision, robotics and industrial wireless networks • Support testing and documentation for product regulatory approvals and certifications • Development of automated production test hardware • Produce engineering documentation including assembly drawings, manufacturing instructions and test procedures • Review product designs for manufacturability and failure modes Qualifications and experience required: • Ideally graduated with a 2.1 or higher in electronics engineering or a related discipline • At least three years of experience in a relevant design role • Analogue and digital circuit design, from schematic capture through to layout (preferably with Altium) • Design for manufacturability techniques • Board-level electronics debugging with common test equipment • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) Experience in one or more of the following would be beneficial: • Design for harsh environments with appropriate certifications (e.g., IECEx, ATEX, DNV-GL) • EMC and regulatory requirements for devices that feature radio communications • Low-power wireless networks (e.g, Zigbee, Thread, Bluetooth) • Camera and ranging technologies (e.g, ToF, LIDAR) • RF/Microwave circuit design and testing techniques • Simulation software (e.g., LTSpice, TINA, COMSOL) • DCDC power supplies • Basic system administration (Windows and Linux) Key words: FPGA Engineer VHDL Engineer Xilinx Engineer Vivado Engineer ModelSim Engineer Questa Engineer OrCAD Engineer KiCAD Engineer PCB layouts Engineer embedded software Engineer embedded electronic Engineer electronic engineer Engineer electronics engineer Engineer electronic and electrical engineering Engineer electronics and electrical engineering Engineer electronic & electrical engineering Engineer electronics & electrical engineering Engineer embedded firmware Engineer electronic design Engineer electronics design Engineer embedded programming Engineer embedded software electronics engineering electronic engineer
